  • Notes 
    • Bucks County Orphans Court file 556-1774, and left Elizabeth with five children under the age of eleven, and pregnant for Samuel. The 1775 tax list for Bristol, Bucks County shows that Elizabeth (widow) had 96 acres, two horses, two cattle and four sheep. Her brother Stephen Guyon is residing with them (this is the only tax year that shows Stephwn in residence.) She must have been a very remarkable women, her children were educated and given a profession, and after the death of her brother Steven, her name was on the tax list for the 111 acre farm in Bensalem that Stephen willed to her for the rest of her natural life and then to go to her son Stephen. .
    • Elizabeth Hibbs, widow, of Bristol Twp. and her son Stephen Hibbs (and his wife Elizabeth)sell to John Guyon, formerly of Middletown Twp. but now of Southampton Twp. yeaoman, their right to land bequeathed by Stephen Guyon.
