CLAIR, JANICE MARTHA, 88, of Clearwater, died Tuesday (Aug. 10, 2004) at Mease Dunedin Hospital. She was born in Bristol, Pa., and came here in 1968 from Burlington, N.J. She was named Miss Bristol, Pa., in 1935. She was a homemaker and a Coast Guard SPAR veteran of World War II. In 1968, she and her husband, Webby, founded the Suncoast Sailing Center in Clearwater. She was Baptist. Survivors include two sons, Wil, Clearwater, and James, Greenlane, Pa.; a daughter, Susan Clair, St. Petersburg; two sisters, Joan Coleman, New Town, Pa., and Clare Roberts, Burlington; and three grandchildren. National Cremation Society, Largo.
