  • Notes
    • Elizabeth's Mother long outlived her Father, who died in 1721, and in her will proved in 1751 she made Elizabeth a residuary heir to her large property on the Neshaminy Creek in Bristol Township. Elizabeth and Patrick were forced to sue Benjamin Britten and her sister Mary his wife, for partition of their parents property. Included in the suit was her son Jonathan ( this may be the reason she conveyed the property to her son Jacob, and Jonathan received no part of it ).
3- Letters of administration were granted to Elizabeth Hibbs on January 25, 1935.

At the September 1756 term of the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas, she was sued by William Walmsley, the executor of the last will and testament of Thomas Walmsley, for the payment of fifty pounds that Jacob had borrow from Thomas Walmsley on April 27,1730.

Elizabeth Kelly was still living in 1775 when Elizabeth Guyon Hibbs, wife of her deceased son Jacob, sold thirty acres of land to Joshua Wright. The sale had the provision that Elizabeth Kelly could remain in her house on part of the land for the rest of her life. Elizabeth died between 1779 and 1781: this is know because she is on the Bristol Township Tax list for 1779, she had no property, no horses , one cattle and one servant. She is not on the 1781 tax list.
    • Benjamin Britton, and wife Mary sold Elizabeth their share of the land of John and Margaret Johnson.
